Islam is a recognized safety practitioner, academic, and advocate with nearly 2 decades of global experience working with Fortune 500s and FTSE 100s across high-risk industries in a senior leadership capacity. As the pioneering mind behind “Care2Lead” and the Leadership-Based Safety framework, Islam combines research-driven insights with an engaging communication style to empower leaders to leverage safety as a catalyst for business transformation and success.
His PhD in safety leadership from Lancaster University produced groundbreaking findings that are reshaping how organizations approach leadership and culture. In 2019, he served as Chair of IOSH’s Middle East branch, where his work set a benchmark across the global network.
