An accomplished HR and business leader with over 25 years of experience, Omar Sharif Al Marzooqi has guided organizations through workforce transformation, cultural evolution, and talent optimization across complex operating environments. As Senior Vice President – People at DP World, Omar leads the people strategy for the MENA and SCO regions, ensuring teams are empowered, capable, and aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.

With a career spanning diverse HR leadership roles and operational responsibilities within port environments, Omar brings a strong business-aligned perspective to organizational effectiveness. Omar is deeply committed to fostering inclusive workplace cultures, developing national talent, and advancing community-focused initiatives through the DP World Foundation.

In addition to the executive responsibilities, Omar serves as a Board Member across several business units, including operations in Pakistan, Algeria, and Egypt, as well as the DP World Foundation.
