Martin Gaard Christiansen

Martin Gaard Christiansen is Chief Executive Officer of Shipping Solutions at DP World, leading the business across Europe and the Americas as part of DP World’s Marine Services organisation. With extensive experience across container shipping, maritime services, terminal operations and supply chain management, he combines strategic vision with strong commercial and operational leadership.

Before taking on his current role, Martin served as Chief Commercial Officer and later Regional Chief Executive Officer at Unifeeder A/S. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership positions within the A.P. Moller–Maersk Group, including Chief Executive Officer for the Asia Pacific region at APM Terminals, where he led regional integration, portfolio development and operational performance across a broad portfolio of terminals and inland services. He also served as an Executive Board Member at Wrist Ship Supply, further strengthening his leadership experience across the maritime and logistics value chain.

Since stepping into his current role, Martin has focused on strengthening network performance, deepening customer relevance, and positioning the business for continued growth in an increasingly dynamic trade environment. He is recognised for his ability to simplify complexity, drive disciplined execution, and build agile, customer-focused networks that create long-term value.
