Søren Heegaard

As Chief Operating Officer of Shipping Solutions EAM at DP World, Søren Heegaard leads the operating agenda across Europe, the Americas, North Africa, and West Africa. With nearly two decades of experience within the business, he brings deep expertise in network operations, capacity management, and shortsea shipping, combined with a strong understanding of the company's customers, markets, and operating model.

Prior to his current role, Søren served as Chief Operating Officer for Europe & Americas and previously held several senior leadership positions within Unifeeder, including Director, Network & Operations and General Manager, Capacity Management. Earlier in his career, he worked in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Denmark, building extensive operational experience across regional markets and functions.

Since taking on his current role, Søren has focused on strengthening operational performance, enhancing network efficiency, and supporting a resilient, customer-focused service offering across the business. He is recognised for his deep industry knowledge, disciplined execution, and ability to translate operational complexity into reliable performance.
