HOW TO SEND THE INVENTORY TO DP WORLD FULFILLMENT CENTER

It is important to follow the advised policies and procedures, to prevent your shipment from being denied or/and incurring additional receiving fees.

Please follow the below steps:

  • Create a Receiving Order (RO).
  • Ensure receiving will arrive with tracking or Bill of Lading (BOL) information.
  • Pallets, master cases, inner packs, and base product units must be properly labeled and packed.
  • Products and product counts in receiving must match those listed on the Receiving Order.
  • Inventory must arrive free and clear of customs, duties, and tariffs, with the correct Importer of Record and Tax ID information.
  • Inventory arrives at a warehouse at the prescheduled appointment date/time.
  • Secure the label on a flat side of the box with the barcode clearly visible.
  • Every pallet or master case must have an RO label.
  • When shipping mixed pallets or mixed master cases, ensure that the RO document lists every SKU included.
  • Mixed pallet and mixed master case shipments that are non-compliant will incur additional fees at receiving.
  • Every master case, inner pack, and base product MUST have the base product’s scannable barcode, as well as the quality of the base products at each packing level.
  • If products arrive without proper labeling expect delays and fees.
  • Your company should always be listed as the Importer of Record, and DP World should only be listed as the delivery location.

Standard KPI's times do not apply to the initial stocking of the inventory.

If a box/pallet arrives more than 28 days after the created RO, receiving will be canceled, and the inventory will be moved to On Hold.

PROVIDING THE CARRIER NAME AND TRACKING NUMBER

To receive and count all inventory within our SLA, we require that each inbound box has the correct paperwork that accurately matches the product(s) and quantities found in that box.

To ensure a smoother receiving process, it is highly recommended that you select the carrier that will be delivering your products and enter the tracking information related to your inventory into the DP World Fulfillment as soon as it is available. Please enter this information before the scheduled delivery, otherwise, you may experience delays.
