SENDING INVENTORY

Prior to sending your shipment to your assigned warehouse, make sure it satisfies all DP World Fulfillment receiving guidelines.

Schedule an appointment to send inventory to our fulfillment warehouse.

In the Seller Portal you create/add the inventory you want to send to your assigned DP World warehouse. It is important to add all the correct information as our operations team will use it to identify your inventory and store it correctly in the warehouse. Please note: The Receiving Order (RO) number must be added on the inbound shipment, either on the pack summary or delivery note. A delivery without a RO cannot be received as the goods cannot be identified. Link to How to send the inventory to DP World fulfillment center.

Please note that if products are not labeled correctly and do not match the information given when creating/adding your inventory in DP World Fulfillment, it will be put ON HOLD.

When creating your inventory, you must also add the date when the products are delivered to our fulfillment center. Please note that the minimum time to plan to ship your inventory to our warehouse is 2 business days before arrival.

When your inventory is delivered to our warehouse, we will pre-receive the goods on the same day. Pre-receiving means that we unloaded the goods, run the basis visual inspection of the cargo (no signs of damages visible from the outside), count number of pallets and/or number of delivered boxes. Once done, the RO will change the status in the Seller Portal to 'Received at Dock'.

The SLA will not start if the shipment arrives earlier than the booked appointment, and you will be responsible for any fees for holding the truck until it is unloaded. Please be aware that if a delivery arrives later than the scheduled time, it may need to wait for a new unloading slot. This will initiate a new SLA, starting from the moment the unloading begins.

If you ship your inventory via a Floor-loaded container, we will have 1 business day from the time of arrival to pre-receive the goods on our system, this is due to their size. The SLA will not start if the shipment arrives earlier than the booked appointment, and you will be responsible for any fees for holding the truck until it is unloaded.

Once we have pre-received the Receiving Order, the goods will be moved to our inbound area, where we will receive it by quantity within 2 business days. Receiving by quantity means that the boxes will be opened, items counted and booked into the system then stored in the correct location. Only when the items are counted, we can see if all items were sent correctly.

The inventory put ON HOLD will be received by quantity only once you have corrected the problem. It will be received by quantity within 2 business days from the resolution time.
