As part of our global strategy, DP World UK has invested in many measures to enable sustainable trade at its port operations at London Gateway and Southampton.

On 1 October 2021 DP World UK introduced its Energy Transition Contribution (ETC) to support our goal of becoming net zero across all operations by 2050.

We have made significant progress to reduce carbon emissions through maximising efficiency, using renewable energy and displacing fossil fuels and introducing innovative decarbonisation initiatives to help customers reduce their Scope 3 emissions with further projects in the pipeline.

To continue to contribute towards the energy transition investments, the Energy Transition Contribution will be reviewed on a regular basis at both DP World UK ports.
